THE OPERATING MODEL

Adapters translate provider-specific input into a normalized Agent Event. AgentGateFee verifies the event contract, reconciles idempotent delivery, and evaluates the applicable immutable policy version.
The resulting Decision Receipt feeds a Timeline, Agent Authority Map, and Human Review Inbox. Customer checkout, payment, order, and delivery systems remain the source of execution truth.

OBSERVE does not silently become DECIDE or ENFORCE.
Synchronous guidance and customer-affecting enforcement remain separate gated stages. They require accepted shared semantics, customer-controlled adapters, safe fallback, rollback evidence, and explicit activation.

What is the smallest useful integration?
One verified Resource and one versioned, read-only Agent Event source are enough to begin observing policy and evidence quality.
Does AgentGateFee need to replace existing infrastructure?
No. The product is designed to preserve the merchant or platform checkout, payment processor, CDN, and commerce protocol.
When does enforcement become available?
Only after separate implementation, acceptance evidence, customer-controlled integration, and explicit scoped activation. OBSERVE usage does not activate it.
